The Belek Golf Tournament, organized by "Turkish Golf UK," which was established in London in 2022 and held its second edition between September 17 and 24, took place with the participation of member golfers from England, Turkey, and Northern Cyprus. The tournament featured matches played in various formats at Belek's Faldo, Cullinan, and Max Royal golf courses.
In the first four days of the tournament, Reşat Bilgin took first place in the total scores, followed by Cengiz Karaduman in second place, and Savaş Balman in third place. They received their trophies from Captain Ahmet Orğen and President Mertdoğan Ziya.
In the competition, Hıfsı Ayrancıoğlu secured the first place in the nearest pin competition for men, while Özlem Orğen claimed the first place among the women. In the team competitions organized by Hasan Kasapoğlu, the Turkish Golf UK team narrowly won the Kasapoglu Tournament against golfers from the Kerineum Golf Club in Northern Cyprus. Participants in the tournament not only competed on the course but also formed friendships and had an enjoyable time. They pledged to meet again next year.
Ahmet Orgen, the captain of Turkish Golf UK, emphasized that their goal is to promote the sport of golf within the Turkish community in the UK and bring people who love the sport together under one roof.
